- CelaAudit® Platform: Your contact and identification information is stored on our AWS-hosted CelaAudit® platform, which serves as our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- SSL Encryption: All data transmission is protected using PositiveSSL encryption to prevent unauthorized access
- Access Controls: Access to your personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only
While we implement robust security measures, please note that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any data breaches as required by law.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. However, we share your information with the following service providers solely to deliver our services:
- Thinkific: Our learning management system provider that hosts course content and manages student enrollments
- PayPal and Stripe: Our payment processors that handle course fee transactions securely
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Our cloud hosting provider for the CelaAudit® platform
These third-party service providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations. We ensure that they maintain appropriate security standards to protect your information.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Celagenix, our students, or others.
6. International Data Transfers
Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of South Africa, including the United States (where Thinkific and AWS servers are located). These countries may have different data protection laws than those in your country of residence.
When we transfer your data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses or other legally approved transfer mechanisms, to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for 30 days following the completion of your course(s). After this period, your personal data will be securely deleted from our systems, except where we are required by law to retain certain information for longer periods (such as for tax or regulatory compliance purposes).
If you have not completed a course or your account remains active, we will retain your information until you complete the course or request deletion of your account.
